More pics. from the first day

Pub in Edinburgh that I would like to go back to. I hope the owner stops by the blog and sees that I have corrected my mistake! :)

Bikers get a wide berth (or is it girth?) in Edinburgh.

The view from my window. This is King Arthur's Seat and Holyrood Park. This geological feature is fancied to look like a lion (head the left, rear end to the right) facing the North Sea. The lion is featured prominently on the Scottish coat of arms.

Still the view from my window. Lots of fog here in Edinburgh today!

Update on the weather....last night it was more like 6 degrees C (apparently my alarm clock temp reading is not super accurate, more like a ball park figure!).

Which is about 42 degrees F.

Loving it!

The mechanic Arms is in Edinburgh not Biggar.
I should know, I am the owner!

My apologies owner of Mechanic Arms. Blame it on the jet lag as I did not realize we were already in Edinburgh -- 35 hours of travel can confuse anyone, especially when in a new place for the first time!
